NDT & Infrared Inspection

All Blades are inspected using multiply types of Technology, Infrared and Light Imaging inspections are used to identify water entrapment, Coin Tapping and Ultrasound testing methods are used to identify delamination’s and other laminate defects and X-ray to identify Laminate distortion, embedded FOD and other hidden defects. Blade repairs are made in accordance with TM 55-1520-240-23 repair manual. All repair work is accomplished by highly trained employees who have been certified to perform the specific tasks required. Blade Sealing

Water penetrates the blade through micro-cracks in the blade skin. After the water is removed and repairs are made to the damaged areas, the blades are sealed using the AvTask Blade Sealing Table.
